Debbie Smith Freeman

After retiring as a Senior HR Leader at Pearson Education of 25 years, in 2016 I moved to Jacksonville, FL. I thought I'd be completely retired; but, after a year, I found myself needing more to do. So, I became a Human Resources Consultant, then an Insurance Consultant and finally developed a new passion of working in the mortgage industry.

I think now there's more to life than this and I've decided to really enter into the world of retirement in February 2024.

In my spare time, I enjoy going to church and Bible Study, traveling and walking.

In school, I was quiet and probably not known my too many in my class. I dated and ultimately married Mark Freeman. Mark passed away in 2009. I met him as a Sophomore. I spent a lot of my high school time running around with him and his crowd. My favorite teacher was Mrs. Wells! She was just the nicest person I have ever met!
